ATL
GmbH
Chemnitz
ATL Chemnitz is a trusted partner for the transport of goods throughout Germany and the European Union.
About our partner ATL Chemnitz GmbH
ATL Autotransport- und Logistik GmbH was founded on 1 November 1992. The company was formed from part of the haulage division of the former VEB Kraftverkehr Karl-Marx-Stadt, later Kraftverkehr AG Chemnitz. ATL Autotransport- und Logistik GmbH was established as the independent company that it is today under the ownership of a sole shareholder, and initially had 49 employees and 25 vehicles.
Our corporate objective was and remains to run a medium-sized haulage company, offering the traditional services of groupage, logistics and warehousing. On 30 September 2003, we set up an international department to deal with international freight forwarding. Initially, we did not have our own vehicles, but once the company’s own fleet was expanded to include long-distance vehicles, we also transported shipments with our own vehicles.

Tischler
Sachsen
Fachverband (Professional Association of Carpenters in the Free State of Saxony)
One key task is to represent the interests of the guild members to politicians and local authorities.
About our partner Tischler Sachsen
The Fachverband Tischler Sachsen (Professional Association of Carpenters in the Free State of Saxony) is the service centre and centre of excellence for the 17 Saxon carpentry guilds and their member companies. The association supports the work of local guilds, generating and maintaining many services and benefits for guild members.
One of its key tasks is to represent the interests of the guild members to politicians and local authorities. The association does this at both state level, in Saxony, and at the federal level, where the Bundesverband Tischler Schreiner Deutschland [German Federal Association of Carpenters] is also closely involved.
As an employers’ organisation, the association is responsible for negotiating collective agreements for the carpentry trade. These negotiations are undertaken within the “Tarifgemeinschaft Neue Bundesländer” [“Collective-bargaining union for the new federal states”]. A standardised collective-bargaining framework enables company owners to budget accurately, guarantees service levels that are as comparable as possible and supports the sector with the recruitment and retention of key skilled personnel. Collective bargaining also plays an important role in the recruitment of new young talent.
The association’s other tasks are extensive and varied; they range from legal and operational advice for member companies to the provision of framework agreements to the organisation of seminars and high-profile events, such as “Die Gute Form” [“Good Form”]. The wide-ranging campaign to attract young talent and cultivation of the profession’s image are also indispensable components of the association’s services; these help member companies to generate a positive perception of the profession and spark external interest in it. Enquiries about carpentry apprenticeships have risen sharply again in recent years, for example, despite the low birth rate – the number of guild members is growing steadily.
Kollektiv13
With smart strategies and personalised support, Kollektiv13 uses digital means to attract the attention of the right people.
About our partner, Kollektiv13
“You do ‘something with media’, manage companies’ social-media presence and provide ideas and content.” The first meeting with the regional digital marketing agency in Chemnitz may well have started something like this.
In the opaque market of advertising-agency support, Kollektiv13 offers impressive transparency and service, enabling us to make a quick start with social-media marketing, including content creation, right from the outset.
On the basis of continuous collaboration, the support provided by Kollektive13 included advertisements on search engines and social media, the provision of graphics and text, newsletter marketing and, last but not least, programming work to develop a state-of-the-art website template.
Since then, regular topic-planning meetings with Josephine Leonhardt Photographie have become as much a part of everyday life at Toms Gerber as ordering edging strips or laminate. This collaboration on external communication, alongside our complex machine work, craftsmanship and digitalised business processes, puts the finishing touch to our image as a modern company.
